We’ve received feedback from some of our readers, that they are unable to easily switch back to Classic Mail from New Mail.

Firstly, please try the instructions outlined here by Sabrina.

If that doesn’t do the trick, try clicking upon Options (found to the top-right of your Mail) and then select Switch to Yahoo!7 Mail Classic as shown below:

Get back to Classic Mail

It’s that easy :D

I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AT THE WAY YOU KEEP CHANGING THE LAY OUT OF YAHOO.COM.AU. I CANNNOT SEND EMAILS UNLESS I FIRST ATTACH A DOCUMENT TO BRING UP SOME WRITING SPACE. WHY IS THAT??

it is easier to use the old yahoo mail than this new one. the former can chat or send messages to the mobile phone because the number can easily locate at the left bottom of the screen. i have difficulty doing this. what should i do.

I cannot access my yahoo mail. I keep getting
the message, “Opening page about: blank”
or I get “done” and nothing appears beneath
the Yahoo mail logo. With the classic Yahoo page,
I was able to hover my mouse over Mail and a few entries popped up, and got me into mail.
Now I can’t do that anymore. Help!

I do not like your new email format. Please switch me back to the old version. I always liked that it was different from other email services which I did not like. I never changed from yahoo when switching carriers for that reason. I do not like the new email at all.

not happy Jan! Give me a new place altogether. Just loaded a new firewall when IE had it’s privacy grief and Yahoo refuses to allow me back into my mail because the firewall has prevented it loading adverts everywhere. SELFISH Yahoo!!! How do you expect us to surf safely when you are actively discouraging protection.

I don’t like the new mail at all. I am having trouble switching back. I liked the old mail much better. If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!
